About Us

 

QuinTapioca International NV (QTI NV) is establishing an agricultural enterprise for the production of cassava destined for the production of cassava starch. The establishment of a starch extraction and packaging facility and the sale of starch in the Kwinti area  will lead to:

 

  • Improvement of the economic and social conditions in the area where the project is implemented

  • A planned and structured response to the increased demand for starch

  • Stimulating economic development of the area as a whole by attracting service providers to the planned project

  • Increasing the export of starch from Suriname

 

There is a worldwide increase in demand for starch as a result of a worldwide systemic shortage of this important product that is used in different branches of industries including the food, soft drinks, paper and textile industries.

QuinTapioca International NV focuses on the internal and external market. The entire process will be able to meet the quality requirements which are made, from the global market to meet the HACCP system.

 

VISION "More Jobs"

Providing employment for at least 200 growers of cassava, mainly small farmers (certified), 30 - 40 direct production workers, electricians,  construction workers and local service companies (cleaning, security, catering etc.).

AREA DEVELOPMENT

The area is underused and regarded by the government as a development area. To ensure the positive influences on the Surinamese market and thus to ensure the quality and continuity of the operations of the company, we will forge collaboration agreements with various organizations with specific expertise.

The aim of QuinTapioca International NV is to provide employment opportunities, while improving the welfare of workers through the production of starch from cassava. QuinTapioca wants to meet the high demand of starch by establishing a starch extraction and packaging facility and the sale of starch. This will lead to the Improvement of economic and social conditions in the area where the project is implemented.
